What is Physical health? Well the basic dictionary definition is "The over well well-being of your body both outside and in."
That is a pretty simplified answer for something that has many aspectd.
Back in the day it was considered that someone was physically healthy by whether they were seriously ill or not.
Today’s definition now considers everything ranging from the absence of disease to fitness level.
Study.com divides physical health into 5 main parts; I will just summarize what they say there:

) Physical Activity: Should be active on a daily basis, should include both leisurely and structured exercised.

) Nutrition and Diet: Should have a well-balanced diet, should drink plenty of water

)Alcohol and drugs: Shouldn’t do them

) Medical Self Care: Should have basic items at home(bandages, lozenges, advil, etc.).

) Rest and Sleep: Should get 7-9 hours of quality sleep (quiet, dark)
Other things they don’t mention at study.com is to make sure you have good hygiene and also get regular check ups.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
This text gives us reason why we must respect our body. We must not inflict problems on our body whether through drug abuse, smoking, giving yourself “cool” scars because you do not own your body, but it belongs to God.
1 Corinthian 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God

If we gorge ourselves on food and look like gluttons that is not glorifying God

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
This text shows how it is true that your physical health is attached to your mental and emotional health. If you are fit but are having emotional problems you will still not feel fine.
To summarize physical health consists of the 5 main parts: Physical Activity,, nutrition and diet, the use of alcohol and drugs, medical self care. We also saw how it is connected to your emotional health. We also saw why we should keep physically healthy; which is because our bodies do not belong to ourselves but rather to God and we must take care of them.
